Halla Juffali
Halla is a businesswoman and entrepreneur who is passionate about technology and how it can make a positive impact on our society and way of life.
Following a degree in business studies, Halla joined W Science & Investments laboratories in Zurich, where she worked on rolling out a number of disruptive technology projects in media and digital health. During this period, Halla was part of the founding team of W Science, which launched Virtually Live and NeuroPro, two companies delivering revolutionary solutions in media and healthcare.
Halla brings a wealth of experience with her other roles and activities. Halla is the Managing Partner and Board Member of Walid Ahmad Juffali Co Ltd, a Saudi Arabian company focused on providing best in class products, services, solutions and technologies with specialities in energy, commodities, industrial and technology. Halla also serves as Board Member of E.A. Juffali & Brothers, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest commercial enterprises, recognised as leading pioneers in manufacturing and trading organisations in Saudi Arabia.
Jamil El-Imad
Jamil is an inventor and pioneer in virtual reality, neuro-technology and big data, with extensive experience in building systems and solutions.
For over three decades, Jamil has worked on developing technology solutions on IBM platforms in health, media and commercial sectors. He is the co-inventor of WiNAM and the co-inventor of Virtually Live, a new age virtual world media whose unique patented technology delivers an immerse VR experience for attending live events. He is a Scientific Advisor at NeuroPro.ch, an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London, and a Fellow at the Institution of Engineering and Technology. In addition, Jamil is the Co-Founder and CEO of the BrainForum.org.
Jamil has numerous inventions and patents in VR and in brain computer interfaces (BCI). He is a frequent speaker at international prestigious scientific forums such as TED, the Financial Times US Health Summit, and the Swiss Association of Telecommunications (ASUT) Annual Summit.
